Experience
Tutored college students in mathematics and chemistry Previous High School Teacher for 3 years in Physical Science I want to be a tutor because I love helping students succeed in science and mathematics. I seem to have a natural gift of teaching in a way that concepts can be explained so that students can easily grasp. My style of tutoring is motivational as well. My goal is not simply to tutor the student to do well on his or her assignment or exam; I also want to help the student to understand the material in a way that it can be retained for a very long time. I utilize higher levels of critical thinking and reasoning such as evaluating, contrasting, synthesizing and deducing to help students to learn in an efficient manner.
