Experience

I have previously worked as a tutor for University Instructors. I met with elementary students during the school day and assisted them with assignments. For a number of years I taught homebound students at the middle school and high school level and was responsible for their educational instruction in all subject areas. I have taught Geometry, as well as, all areas within special education, including the blind and visually impaired. I have also substituted in regular education classroom environments. I have the ability to evaluate learning styles and adapt curriculum to fit student needs. I enjoy making learning fun and rewarding.

My hobbies include reading, cooking, painting, gardening, exercising and spending time with my children. I also enjoy playing card games, being in nature, learning new things, watching football/basketball/soccer, and researching various topics (i.e. nutrition, history, geography, etc.).
