I earned my bachelor's in microbiology at Arizona State University. I'm currently a medical student in my fourth year towards my masters. I've been a tutor since I was eight, starting with my four-year-old sister. I taught her math up to multiplication and how to read. Throughout the Richmond area, I have tutored in after-school programs, as well as peers in medical school. As a private tutor, I primarily offer sessions to teach math and science, though I also work with students in dance. I assist students in editing their college essays, improving their grasp of biological foundations of living systems, and working through their homework. In addition, I am knowledgeable on the graduate test, as well as the MCAT and the ACT/SATs. As a tutor, I am flexible and patient. I work hard to make learning a fun experience in which we work collaboratively to improve their mastery of the subject. Through interesting and immersive learning materials, I can provide a solid foundation in topics from elementary to graduate-level education. I enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds. In my free time, I enjoy learning more about medicine and surgery. I participate in dance groups, as well as go hiking with my dogs.
