I am someone who is a personal fan of learning and when I see people who don't like learning or are struggling with it or simply haven't had opportunities to thrive academically, it makes me want to help them. I like to think that I can make most subjects relatable and tailor my teaching style to the individual I'm tutoring. I have taken numerous courses that qualify me to teach elementary aged children math, reading, and writing. Additionally, I've taken many upper level English courses from U.S. Literature to Advanced Writing and many classes surrounding domestic and international politics. Personally, I believe that with determination and one on one studying, anyone can be successful in any subject.

Hobbies

One of my big hobbies is soccer. I love playing soccer, watching the English Premiere League on television, going to live soccer games. I've played since I was six years old, so I'm definitely a big fan. Reading and writing are two of my other major hobbies. I think that a lot of people associate reading and writing with school or work, so they find it to be a chore. One of my goals as a future elementary school teacher is to show children the power behind reading and writing because they can open so many doors education-wise and from an entertainment perspective. A couple other things that I am a huge fan of are movies, singing, and plays. I've always been interested in performing arts and the creativity and work behind the scenes.
