Education

I am attending J. Sargent Reynolds Community College for Human Services. I have just completed my fall semester, yet I took this past semester as a Science Program. I was previously going to study microbiology, but chose my love for people and decided Human Services will be a better program for me. I have attended Rappahanock Community College for Food Prep and Recieved my ServeSafe with a 4.0 GPA.

Experience

I have previous TAUGHT/TUTORED 1-3 graders in a Bible Study. I can tutor in that for younger children. This would include a general history of the Bible and understanding the Bible in a non-denominational way. I also have tutored beginner musicians in the flute working on articulations, scales, and sightreading. I am willing to work with any skill degree from first time playing to third year playing. I can also teach how to read music in the treble. I took band through-out school and was always in the top five of my band. I have worked a lot with elementary school aged children. I do understand ADD, Aspergers, and other OHI cases in special education from my past experience. I can work with these children if given notice of this before starting. I can also tutor you child in cooking, home economics. I am ServeSafe certified. I do have dietary restrictions, but can teach the basics to those over the age of 12.

Hobbies

My hobbies include knitting, practicing colorguard, (usually seen in front of a high school band on a foot ball field, but I enjoy the art and dance form of it), practicing my flute, walking/staying fit, and learning new things! My interests include photography, (which I can also tutor in as a side more fun approach to learning), observing people, (as my career in the future I wish to be someone in the social service field working with foster children, I enjoy learning about and understanding people.
