I want to be a tutor because I want to help students succeed. I have taken eight years of French over my lifetime and two years of German. I have always excelled in English grammar and writing, as well as in Literature. I am currently a preschool teacher at the Weinstein JCC. CPR trained. I recieved a 4 on the AP English exam in high school as well as a 4 on the AP French. In 2008, I placed 4th in the state on the National French Exam.

Hobbies
Reading, writing, and cooking. I love to read, especially science fiction and fantasy novels, but also love the literature greats. Sylvia Plath, Jonathon Franzen, Dave Eggers, Madaleine L'Engle, Orson Scott Card, Robert Jordan, J.K. Rowling, and Tolkien are among my favorite authors. I love to cook down-home southern foods as well as international cuisine. I tend to write creative fiction pieces, normally short stories.
