I have been an elementary school teacher for the last eight years in Richmond City and Chesterfield County. I have experience teaching kindergarten, first grade, third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade. I was named first runner up for Richmond Public Schools Teacher of the Year in 2014. I am a member of VCU Clinical Faculty where I help train future teachers. I love working with children and find no greater joy than helping my students realize their potential and find success.

Education is my passion and I am very devoted to my students. In my spare time I enjoy working out at the gym and getting together with my book club to discuss great reads! I also love travelling. Some of my best trips have been to Turks and Caicos, Puerta Vallarta, and Paris. When I am not out and about I love spending quiet time at home cooking a good meal with my sweet dog and fiance.
