Throughout my life, I have tested in the 99th percentile of standardized tests having to do with reading and writing. I was in the gifted programs through elementary, middle, and high schools with coordinators who continually had to challenge me more and more with linguistic abilities. My background in sociology and public health at the university level (average of A- across classes in these disciplines) has given me wide knowledge through the academic, cognitive, and societal lenses on how to apply these subjects. I have written many papers on a variety of topics ranging from food deserts to international health outcomes. Nutrition is a subject I am personally passionate about and impart to my family and friends on a daily basis. In addition, I have performed well in world history classes and am experienced in giving detailed oral presentations. I have a variety of interests, but I have carefully crafted them in order to be the best that I can be and to be in a position to impart the knowledge through tutoring.
