I recently graduated from one of the top private college preparatory schools in the state of Virginia. I am attending Virginia Commonwealth University and am double majoring in Liberal Studies for Early and Elementary Education and English, with a minor in French.
Experience
I love working with children! I have been babysitting throughout high school, and am very comfortable around kids of all ages. I have scored a 5 on both the AP English and AP Literature exams, and love to read and write in my free time. I even wrote a play and directed it for my senior project! Currently, I am a writer for VCU's chapter of Her Campus, an online magazine for collegiates around the country. English is my favorite subject, and throughout high school I earned an A in all eight English classes that I took. I love to read and decipher and interpret texts with ease. With both a theater and English background, I have had ample experience with Shakespeare, so if you or your child needs help with that, I am very capable! I know it can be tricky! A more broken down version of my qualifications and other info: -Can assist with analytical essays, research papers, writing prompts, creative writing, articles, etc. -Wide range of knowledge in grammar, spelling, punctuation, paper structure and proper citation -I have experience with children of all ages as a babysitter, classroom assistant and tutor, but am more than happy to work with adults, too! -Online tutoring is also available! $20.00 per one hour session via Skype and/or Google Docs or other appropriate platform.
