ExperiExperiences I have a wide variety of tutoring experience, mostly in English language arts. My first position was that of a homebound teacher for Henrico County. There, I assisted special needs students preparing for their GED or continuing their regular high school curricula. In Japan, I tutored students for ten years. Currently, I am tutoring for a private company, helping students to succeed on the SAT. I find the rapport I establish one on one to be stimulating and fulfilling. It is a wonderful experience when students recall what we covered in previous lessons, a sign of definite learning and academic growth.
