I have done some tutoring amongst classmates and younger family friends, Mostly in sciences and psychology. I have experience working with children of all ages through non-profit volunteer work. I personally struggled to find study habits that worked for me, and am confident that i could help others find what study habits work for them. In High School I was a member of both National Honor Society and National German Honor Society. I pushed myself to the limit with my academics and learned how to manage my time and remain as organized as possible. Hobbies
In my free time I'm a pretty laid back individual. I like to curl up with a good book when i get a chance and try to learn as much as i can about other cultures. I also like to spend time with my dog, listen to or play music, although being mostly self taught I don't feel I'd be all that great at working with a student in an individual instrument, i could help with basic theory. Personally I play Violin, Viola, Guitar and Piano. I have a diverse understanding of string instruments but do not consider myself an expert in any of my instruments. I also enjoy crafting of all varieties, and love to knit and crochet. I find enjoyment in creating something with my own two hands that serves a function beyond its style. Above all I enjoy volunteering my time to worthy causes and pursuits whenever I can. Throughout my childhood my mother worked for non-profit agencies that work to promote positive parenting and prevent child abuse in our communities. I've learned a great deal through my volunteering about child development.
