I have a love for biology which extends to my schooling and my career. I obtained a BS in biology from Bridgewater College. I am presently attending the Virginia Commonwealth University and working towards a doctorate degree in physical therapy. I have spent time tutoring several classes for the biology department. However the classes that I liked teaching the most were human anatomy/physiology. Biological sciences are both important and exciting. I have experience teaching chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biology, and general science. I also have experience with teaching martial arts and spent five years doing that. I learned a tremendous amount, including how important it is to be a positive and motivating instructor. I get satisfaction in seeing a student improve in an area which they struggled. I enjoy spending time working with students on prepping for college entrance exams and other test prep.In my free time, I enjoy spending time being active, including hiking, soccer, and running. I also enjoy reading during a quieter moment.
