Private tutor in Richmond, VA
James Madison University - BS, Chemistry
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and minored in math at the James Madison University. My studies in math and science are very advanced - my science focus is in quantum and physical chemistry and math is in multivariate calculus. I am a very proficient tutor in math and science. While a student at James Madison University, I was a tutor with the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society during my last two years. I have additionally spent countless hours talking with professors at national conventions of research and poster sessions and with other students in study groups. I believe from my experiences that I am highly qualified and confident in being able to explain all levels of math and chemistry to any level of student. Alternative energy (specifically the part chemistry plays in helping this technology move forward) is my passion. Polymer chemistry is also fascinating to me. I am a native of Richmond, VA, and returned home after graduating from James Madison University to be close to family. I love to explore nature and the outdoors, play music, and read when I am not delving into alternative energy and polymer chemistry.
