On May 3, 2014, I received my B.A. from Regent University where I maintained a full time course load and a 3.5 GPA. This was accomplished while working full time for Chesterfield County Public Schools, being a full time mom and wife and participating in outside activities. I spent five years working as an instructional assistant in an elementary school and one year working as the computer teacher in an elementary school. Though I am currently working in the instructional office I have applied for my teaching license and teaching positions. When I teach a student I like to find out the way in which the student learns best and tailor my teaching to those particular needs. Furthermore, I work with a student until he/she understands the material well enough to succeed in the course and on the tests. I will not skip over what isn't readily understood and will do my best to make learning as fun as it is informative.
