- I have been a private tutor for a year. I also worked in John Tyler Community College's Writing Center, as a writing and English tutor. - I love tutoring because I think that one-on-one learning is the most effective kind of learning. I also love building relationships with my clients. - I have experience working with people of all ages. I was a camp counselor with middle-school aged kids, a nanny for elementary-school aged kids, and a writing tutor for college students (ages ranging from 18-60).
