I worked with AmeriCorps, working with 2nd grade students with reading problems. I also volunteered in Amelia County Elementary School. I plan on being an art teacher, so I would love to add up experience. I graduated from High School at sixteen years old, with a 3.4 GPA. I attended VA Tech before transferring to State to attend their art program. I love being in school, so I am taking on two majors. I'd like to take a more personal approach to tutoring, I want the student to be comfortable and relaxed, yet focused. I like hands on, because I feel like the student will be more engaged and willing to participate.
