Education
I am a recent college graduate of Christopher Newport University (Spring 2011). I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with a minor in Writing. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA, Magna Cum Laude, and was an active member in various honor fraternities on campus.
Experience
Reading and writing have always been interests and hobbies of mine, so I have proofread, edited, and assisted with what seems like thousands papers over the years for peers and friends. I never had a chance to tutor during my undergraduate career, as I was busy with a full course load and outside employment. However, I am now employed with a full-time position doing marketing for a property management company and I miss the intellectual aspect of English writing, analyzing, critical thinking, etc. that I am unable to always experience in my work environment. I'd be happy to assist children of all ages with reading, language arts, spelling, vocabulary, writing, or any related field. However, my specialty is high school and undergraduate level papers (creative, research, etc.) as I am most recently experienced in these categories.
