Education
Originally, I studied to become an engineer, and acquired a B.S. and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Moldova. However, I realized that my real passion was teaching, which is when I decided to complete my second Master's degree in English and Russian linguistics and translation. I have always been passionate about the English language, and studied it in-depth for many years. While in Moldova, I worked as a Professor of Technical English in the same Engineering school that I graduated from. There, I have taught English to Russian-speaking engineering students, helping them learn how to communicate and interact with fellow engineers from English-speaking countries.
Experience
I have been a Visiting Professor of Russian Language at the University of Richmond, and have taught university-level Russian to beginner and intermediate students for two full semesters. I am currently working as a private Russian language tutor, and have been teaching Russian to a wonderful family of three for over a year.
