I have a BA of Foreign Language (Spanish) and am certified to teach Spanish PreK-12 in Virginia. I am also certified to teach English as a Second Language (ESL/TESOL/ELL) K-12). I am also experienced in working with students in English Grammar and Literature, Study Skills, and Organization. Please see the list of areas for which I am available!

I need to customize a plan to fit the needs of each of my students because every person learns differently! So we will work together to make sure that I can give you exactly what you need to succeed; whether you are working towards your own degree, acing an exam or test, or learning Spanish for your career. I am working FOR YOU. So I approach each and every one of my sessions with flexibility and excitement. I love what I do; and that is why I do it! Please know that I am good at what I do. I have been tutoring other students since I, myself, was a student (I am NOT going to say how long ago that was - let's just say I was 10 years old when I started learning Spanish :) - and I have been speaking it now for a LONG TIME) So how about letting me help you succeed? Then we will both be smiling when we are done...doesn't that sound AWESOME??!! *I have tutored in all areas for over 30 years, including all areas of Spanish (Medical Terminology, vocabulary, Grammar, AP Prep, etc.) *I am bilingual with Spanish and English and genuinely enjoy working with students of all ages to help them truly comprehend the language. *I have also worked with people to create a personalized study plan based upon their own learning style and strengths. *I have a background in Human Resources and Sales in addition to my teaching and, as a result, truly have the ability to work with people and create ways to help them succeed *I also try to make every lesson as relevant to my students as possible so that the material is more engaging
