Education

I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and received a Bachelor's of English. My GPA was a 3.6, though I had a 4.0 for English classes. I graduated in 2015. I received my TESOL/TESL/TEFL certification from Oxford Seminars.

Experience

I am employed as a Tutor and Substitute teacher at Virginia Commonwealth University's English Language Program. My responsibilities include one-on-one tutoring, substitute teaching to large classes of international students, and working with new student orientation, etc. Additionally, I have taken graduate level classes on TESL. Next year I will be moving abroad to teach EFL in South Korea. I love tutoring because it allows me to get to know my students, and gives me the opportunity to create lessons that fit their learning styles.
