Margaret P.

Private tutor in Richmond, VA

Education

Currently Hold: BS, Biology at Erskine College; PhD, Human Genetics, Tulane University Currently Enrolled: MS, Clinical and Translational Sciences, Virginia Commonwealth University

Experience

I love tutoring because I love learning and showing others the wonders of science. I currently mentor 2-3 undergraduate students who are interested in the biological sciences at VCU. My additional teaching experience includes both laboratory and didactic teaching in genetics and cell biology at the University of Richmond, and immunology and biochemistry at VCU. Although I have lots of teaching experience, tutoring is by far my preference, as it allows a more individualized, one-on-one experience and students really learn challenging material better that way. I currently hold a PhD in human genetics and am enrolled in a master's program at VCU in the clinical and translational sciences. My CV/resume is available upon request. I would love to help you achieve your educational goals!
